Who will teach the world’s future generations?


Far into the past, robots never existed. Everyone would do their work on their own. But since we are in the twenty-first century, more and more robots are being used. The United States of America has improved in its technological side over the past three centuries. Since the 1700’s, the USA has made many different objects that have changed everyday life. Robots are starting to take over different jobs. They are working in assembly lines creating cars, toys and other objects that are useful. Since they can have a longer lifespan than teachers, can be programmed to do anything, and can learn like humans, they will be the ones to teach in the future.

Robots will teach in the future because they can be programmed and controlled. All the robots can be programmed to teach all subjects, like elementary school teachers, or each one could teach one or two subjects, like high school teachers. The robots can also be controlled by the programmers, or even the teachers. The people controlling the robots can update the robot’s technology whenever and wherever during the school day. For example, if a new student joined the school, the programmer could load the student’s data into the robot’s memory. While they are being controlled, their eyes could also be the programmer’s or teacher’s eyes. This could be school because then the programmer or teacher could know if the robot is having a problem. Wherever the robot goes, the programmer or teacher could track it. Tracking it could be helpful because then the person controlling the robot would know if the robots is going to the right place. Because of….Robots could replace teachers.

Not only can robots be programmed to teach and learn, but they will also have less sick days and vacation days. The only “sick” days robots would have are ones when they need to be repaired. That wouldn’t be for a long time. On the other hand, teachers can be sick for multiple days at a time. When considering retirement, robots would only retire because of damaged or inoperative parts that can’t be fixed anymore. Teachers retire at an age they think is the perfect time to retire. A teacher’s perfect time could be at any age while a robot doesn’t know when to retire. So the robots will be teaching for many, many years.

A problem with robots is that making them might cost too much and take a long time to make efficiently. The process to make a robot takes a long time. First a blueprint is created. Then, the robot is made and tested. Finally the robot is modified and released. This process takes a long time and a large amount of money to make the robot work the way the creators and buyers want them to. However, in the twenty-first century, there are lots of ways to overcome those hardships. Assembly lines were created to make more intriguing and complex objects. There can be a long assembly line to create these robots step-by-step. Those robots can be made by the robots that are used in assembly lines.
